As the end of 2019 started approaching, however, I found myself wishing I had a record of the different movies and TV shows I’d enjoyed during the year[…]
Sofa enables creating lists of different media items. You can save not only TV shows and movies, but also video games, music, books, and podcasts. What’s great about the app is how simple and flexible is it: you can create any lists you like, optionally organized into different sections, and those lists can consist of any mix of media items and types.
I’m so glad I found Sofa as this new year begins. Tracking movies I watch is something I love to do. So far, Letterboxd had been a pretty great way to do this, but it’s a site focused on movies. I want to track other media I consume like TV shows, books, video games, and music albums.
Letterboxd is also review focused. Unfortunately, that’s why it hasn’t been an ideal solution. I’ll watch something and forget to log it because I don’t feel ready to review it. I don’t want to have to review everything I consume, I just want to keep track of it all.
I’m going to give Sofa a try, maybe it’ll turn out to be perfect for me.
